Firex PRO kettles were designed originally for pharmaceutical use, made to exceed FDA & USDA standards with LEEDS and IQ/OQ details in mind.  As HACCP & batch control needs grew in the foodservice industry, our kettle crossed over.  The Firex PRO Stationary kettles were designed for heavy commercial / industrial use in high production areas. The Firex PRO Stationary kettles are digitally controlled, fully jacketed, fully insulated, steam jacketed kettles that are designed for performance and efficiency. With our unique design features, the Firex PRO Stationary kettles maximizes more heating surface area than any other kettles offered, allowing us to outperform our competition while minimizing power consumption, resulting in a faster ROI (return on investment). By featuring a fully jacketed kettle that is insulated, Firex kettles have heating times up to 60% quicker than the others, and achieve this by using up to 54% less energy. As a result, for example, a typical school can have an ROI within 5 months, leaving 2.7 years left under warranty and no out of pocket expenses.

WARRANTY: 3 year warranty on parts & labor, 10 year warranty on heating elements, frame & body. (Exports: Warranty on export items shipped outside the United Staes and Canada include a 3 year parts only warranty, 10 year warranty on frame and body)

This combined with our digital controls allow for total batch control and batch consistency when making products in the Firex PRO Stationary kettles. With this feature we can not only take control of the cooking / heating process and ensure consistency and batch control, but we can also ensure that all products are heated or cooked safely by monitoring product temperatures. In addition to monitoring product temperatures the digital control panel also gives you the ability to set delayed start, cook & hold, add water automatically with water meter, time batch time with timer, cook using Delta T, and cook & chill (optional).

Firex PRO Stationary Kettles Models

Indirect Gas : Heating of water is by series of gas burners and heat exchanger. The heat exchanger heats water and converts it into steam. This then rises into the jacket and heats the product. The jacket is a full jacket and is fully insulated for efficiency and protection of operator. The heat is controlled electronically through temperature and pressure.

Direct Gas : Heating of kettle is achieved by a series of gas burners making contact with kettle. This is a preffered method of heating some products in the candy industry and other industries. Control of temperature is maintained electronically and is precise. The kettle is fully insulated for efficiency and safety of operator,unlike our competitor’s models.

Electric : Heating of kettle is by series of heating elements. The heating elements convert the water into steam. The steam then rises into the jacket and heats the product. The jacket is a full jacket and is fully insulated for efficiency and protection of operator. The heat is controlled electronically through temperature and pressure.

Direct Steam : Heating of kettle is achieved by an external steam source that produces steam and sends it into the jacket. The jacket is a full jacket and is fully insulated. This optimizes heat transfer and protects the operator. The steam then returns to the system in the form of condensate. The temperature is controlled electronically and also by pressure. Firex PRO Stationary kettle is the ONLY direct steam kettle on the market that gives you control of the product by temperature, not just pressure.

Autoclave : Firex PRO Stationary kettle also offers an autoclave version. The autoclave version allows the kettle to use internal pressure to assist in the cooking of the product. Firex PRO Stationary kettle is the only kettle on the market that has a model line dedicated to internal pressure, as a standard model offering.

Firex PRO Stationary Kettles allow the user to use pressure to cook, which dramatically decreases the time needed to complete a batch. Some examples of how Firex PRO Stationary Kettles work are:

Beans: Dry, out of bag, no soaking, cooked in 45 minutes

Rice: Rinsed only, out of bag, cooked in 22 minutes

Stocks: Normally made out of bones take 4 to 8 hours, now take 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
